This was my first event in a rear wheel drive car, and it was great.. We were competing in a Mk2 Escort that was hastily prepared after the engine for the Ford Anglia was delayed.
The event was mostly tarmac/concrete but there were a couple of gravelly sections. However, there was a lot of rain the evening before, so the gravel sections just turned into a very slippery, muddy slime..
The rest of the event was very good with a good mixture of twisty bits and straights.
In all, a great day.
